The Power Of Self-Discovery On Your Journey To Your Purpose

Self-discovery is the number one key to remembering our purpose

If there's one thing that could define my life, that's definitely the dedication to finding my soul's calling. Discovering my purpose has been the quest of my life.

My definition of purpose has evolved over time, and my approach to finding what I came here to do and who I came here to be has been completely different in all my life phases. But you can bet I've tried a whole lot of things.

One thing I've never heard, that no one ever told me, and it's not repeated enough in this industry, is that self-discovery is the number one key to remembering our purpose. It’s the thing we should be focusing on. And not only that but also that it’s going to be one of the most challenging things we’ve ever done.

I was that kid who was trying to find all the answers outside of me. Maybe if I go to that place I'll figure this out. Maybe if I do this other thing I'll finally understand this concept. Maybe if I talk with the right people I'll get to discover why I'm here. It never works.

We have to realise that our souls already know why we’re here. All the answers we’re seeking are already inside of us. We have to redirect our journey inward.

Self-discovery, self-awareness, self-actualization, call it whatever you want - that's what we need to focus on. Getting to know ourselves, inside out. All layers and levels. Personality and soul. Mind and body. Conscious and subconscious. Get crystal clear on who we are.

And I'm not talking about just knowing what we’re excited about, how our skills can help humanity, or what we’re great at. Knowing all of that is wonderful - nothing wrong with it. But staying on the surface is NOT going to lead us to our purpose. Those are personality aspects, and our purpose is stored deep in our souls. We need to get to understand ALL of ourselves.

It’s about shedding light on all the blocks and limitations we feel in our lives. Getting crystal clear on what we want to do and why. Looking at some of our deepest wounds and patterns to see what parts of us need healing. It’s about thinking. Thinking about what's behind our automatic behaviours. Thinking if what society or our families want from us defines who we think we are and what we do. Thinking if we have been conditioned to believe something that doesn't feel like truth to us.

Many of you have been on this path for a long time already, and this is something that not enough people talk about, but the journey of self-discovery is HARD. It's uncomfortable, it's frustrating, and it's even painful at times. You know it, you've felt it. But you also know how fulfilling and eye-opening it can be. You know it's leading you to more meaning, truth and connection to who you are. And I promise you, it will eventually lead you to your soul.
